December 2022 Empties (YTD totals)

I was only able to finish one item – and that is the Neutrogena Hydro Boost whipped body balm. The total for this product is $7.99

This brings my YTD total for 2022 up to $267.45

I was able to declutter $468.83 worth of products as well earlier in the year.

And my YTD total for purchases was $65.19!

March 2022 Empties

What a disappointing month and first quarter for me.

Ive been fighting pneumonia on and off since January and last week I had the flu. I havent had the flu in over 20 years!

Ive basically just done the bare minimum in terms of self care and my empties show it.

My total for March is $28.76

Hopefully I will do much better next month and on! How did yall do?

January 2022 Empties

January was a horrible month for me. I fought pneumonia earlier this month and am still recovering.

I was able to finish up some bath products but nothing from my project pans. I use both of the body wash products alternatively. If I go too long without either of these, my skin rebels.

I received the Not Your Mothers dry shampoo for review a couple years ago and ended up really loving it. I have very short, fine hair so it takes me forever to use hair products up.

My total used for this month is $28.81.

How did you start your year? Were you able to finish up a lot of items?

October 2021 Empties

October was one for the books!

I was able to empty 3 more products in my latest project pan Ive been really trying to concentrate on using my skincare especially since I havent worn makeup in a few weeks because I have some type eczema flare.

Its amazing to think that I was able to use up $190.99 up but that Dior serum and Lancome eye cream is on the higher end.

How did you do last month? Were you able to finish anything?

One last skincare project

I decided that I would have more of an incentive to finish my current skincare products if I put them into a project pan. These products have just been sitting around – some half used and others opened and used maybe once. They are some of the oldest skincare products I have.

My goal is to have all of these items used by Christmas Eve.

On the left is my daytime skincare and on the right is my night time skincare.

Are you planning to do a final project pan of the year? If I remember correctly, this is the first actual project pan for me this year.

Expired Sunscreen Declutter

Its safe to say that I have been on a journey of sorts this past year. Pandemic aside, I have been slowly decluttering everything.

I did not spend any time outside last summer so I didnt wear sunscreen.

Jump to this summer when I want to do things and find out that every sunscreen in my possession expired last summer. There is no use keeping expired products around, so here they are.

Do you make sure not to keep expired sunscreen?

February 2021 Empties

Im taking a slight break from posting my inventory to post my February empties.

I managed to use up $147.76 worth of products.

My BareMinerals travel brush broke early this month. Somewhere I have another one. I used it for almost every powder foundation application. I dont think they sell this particular brush anymore, which is disappointing.

I dont do in-depth reviews on my empties any longer – but I wanted to briefly tell yall to save your money when it comes to the Elemis day cream. (Its hard to see it in the photo below.) This moisturizer smells EXACTLY like Noxzema only for a LOT more money.

How did you do last month?

Skincare Collection – Moisturizers

I wanted to share my skincare inventory this year – mostly to keep myself accountable. Ill be splitting it into manageable sections over the course of the next few blog posts.

In this post, Ill be sharing my moisturizers.

Similarly to my eye creams, most of these were acquired in 2020 thru various subscription boxes or for review.

I am currently working on the Belif and the Dr Jart moisturizers. Ill be using them from left to right (in order that I received them).

Have you used any of the moisturizers pictured above? I havent used any of them before so I would love to know your thoughts.
