5 bags I would not buy again

First – apologies for not posting last week. Its been – something.

I saw this tag going around youtube recently and thought it would be fun to share the bags I would not buy again as well. As we all say – if you have any of these bags and love them – Im happy for you.

Coach Backpack – I literally bought this thinking it would be smaller. Its a great bag for when you are out and about, but I only use it twice a year. I havent used it at all this year since social events have been off the table.

Michael Kors Ava mini – I love this bag in theory. Its absolutely adorable. But its way too small and Ive found that I just dont use blue bags.

Rebecca Minkoff Amorous – This bag turned out to be larger than I expected. Its a fantastic bag and its very durable especially for the weather we have here in the mid-atlantic. Despite the mint color I chose, (that doesnt come up in this photo) its still very professional looking.

Rebecca Minkoff Regan mini – I have two of these. I just dont like this color as much as I thought I would. I prefer my pink distressed mini but its not a style I love anymore.

Sam Edelman Marion crossbody – I purchased this to see if I would like a similar styled more expensive bag. Not only do I not like this style, I dont like this less pricy version. The compartments are too small and the bag gets too thick to close.

I should also add that almost all of these bags are listed on my Poshmark, so if you are interested, contact me over there. If you create a bundle and mention this blog post on any listing, Ill give you 20% off!

Do you have any bags you wouldnt buy again?

Self Care

Because I just had another medical procedure, I wanted to keep the blog sort of light and short in length. This also is a timely topic because many in the beauty space are doing the May Mask Challenge started by Lisa Stevens a few years ago.

Self care can take many forms. You can give yourself some extra time for yourself in the morning before your kids wake up and that qualifies or you can go all out and do a spa day for yourself.

I tend to stick with something in the middle of these two examples. I like to make sure I shower every day and after I dry off, I use a nice lotion. I like lightly scented lotions but you use something that works for you. I also like to do at home manicures and pedicures. Even before the events of last year happened, I purchased gel polish and a UV light. Amazon has a large stock but make sure to read reviews.

For Mothers Day (THIS SUNDAY!!!) I am planning on coloring my hair. Im not comfortable with going to a salon, so Ill be doing it myself at home.

What are your self care plans? Are you doing anything for Mothers Day?
