5 Things I was Influenced to Buy

As with all tag style posts, this one originated from a video I saw on youtube. I have changed it up to be appropriate for the items I was influenced to buy, so feel free to change it for yourself 🙂

I am sure anyone who comes across this post has been influenced to purchase at least one item due to someone else talking about it. It can include clothing, makeup or luxury style purchases.

My items are all higher end items across many categories.

  1. Ikea Alex Drawers – Who has not seen these drawers? From the beauty guru on youtube or Instagram to the tech reviewer – it seems like everyone loves these drawers. I purchased mine in 2020 after using other styled drawer systems that just didnt have enough room. I love mine and quite honestly would love to have more!
  2. APL Sneakers – Do you want a stylish but super lightweight sneaker? Look no further than these shoes. They are pricy, but you can find older styles/color ways less expensive on other sites. I now have two pair and absolutely love them. I purchased my first pair since 2017-18 and they might be my most comfortable sneaker Ive ever owned.
  3. Good American Jeans – These jeans rose to popularity due to Khloe Kardashians involvement. They are very expensive jeans but you can also get them on sale on their website or even second-hand. If you are plus size, or just have curves you will find them super comfortable. Prior to purchasing my first pair, I wore another brand pretty exclusively but I am a convert to Good American.
  4. iPad Mini (and Apple pencil) – Before I purchased my iPad mini, I was pricing other varieties of the iPad. I knew I wanted to try my hand at digital art and digital planning and that also meant purchasing an apple pencil. I was also replacing an older model and wanted to stay within the Apple ecosystem. I cant tell you how many videos I watched – and I cant tell you how many suggested the new-at-the-time iPad mini with the 2nd gen Apple pencil, but I fell hard for this iPad. I still use it everyday.
  5. Peloton Bike – This purchase was a long time coming. I wish I would have bought it back in 2020 when the shutdowns happened. I spent two years as a digital app user and finally bit the bullet about a month ago. Having this bike makes my Peloton experience a thousand times better. I have tried other cycling programs, but have always came back for the instructors and classes offered on this platform.
